This is a chance to fly small FPV quads with fully enclosed props and small fixed wing planes like Vapors inside a church. Also welcome would be any Free Flight pilots with small slow models.
This is to set a record for the number of aircraft flying in a church. Flying starts from 1pm with an attempt at the record at 2pm.
It’s an interesting venue for FPV with numerous nooks and crannies and pilots may benefit from divine intervention………. or a long rescue pole!!
This is George Adams church and he has had permission from the powers that be. Parking is along Church St and Cottenham Rd and then entry into the church is down a short lane (St Andrews Park) from the North East where the road bends.
Flyers and spectators are welcome. We suggest that flyers might contribute £5 for the church funds.
We did a trial run with somewhat limited success – see the video here
