We don’t have a joining fee and the fee for new members is reduced as we progress through the year.
The adult club membership fee for 2024 remains at £28. This covers outdoor flying sites as shown on the website, the regular Friday evening sessions on the IVC field in the summer, the annual summer “Birthday Bash” fly in and BBQ plus spectating and socialising at the Saturday indoor flying sessions.
There is an additional (but optional) £30 indoor flyer fee for adults which covers all 28 of the Saturday afternoon indoor winter flying sessions in the big Sports Hall (see website calendar) – this payment is required for flyers only – spectators are free!! You need to join the club to be eligible for this supplementary “season ticket”. Those who have not opted for this pay £5 per session.
Junior membership remains free and juniors do not have to pay the £30 indoor flyer fee.

These give the methods of payment which are BACS transfer or cheque. We prefer not to accept cash payments (except as a last resort and we may not have change).
As a BMFA affiliated club, all members must be BMFA members and you can pay the BMFA direct from 1st Dec each year via their separate membership website https://bmfa.azolve.com. The senior BMFA fee has gone up to £47 for 2024, which is still pretty good value as it gives you £25 Million 3rd Party insurance. You can also pay your £10.33 CAA Drone and Model Aircraft Operator fee (if required) via the BMFA. This is going up to £11.19 in April 2024. If you have any problems with your BMFA online renewal please phone the BMFA who are very helpful. If you would prefer the club to renew your BMFA membership and CAA Registration that is no problem – just pay your combined fee to John Clarke.
