IVCMAC will be displaying control line and RC aircraft at the Girton fete once again this year. We will be flying on the Northern part of our usual flying field with the fete car park using the Southern half of the field. Full layout will be available to display pilots as part of the Display Permit from the BMFA.
This year we will be celebrating the clubs 80th anniversary so want to put on a great display of flying and static models to show off aeromodelling to the general public. We will be getting some additional PR from the fete organisers and Andrew Langford will be getting on the PA system to drum up visitors.
Those taking part meet up at Girton before 11.00am. Display flying is scheduled to be continuous between 12 noon and 5pm.
Volunteers would be welcome to help set up, provide models for the static display, talk to the public about model flying, just visit to say hello, or to do some display flying.
