The Events Calendar has been updated to show all our planned dates for 2021 including – Thursday evenings in the Gym Saturday Free Flight flying in the Sports Hall Saturday Radio Control flying in the Sports Hall Friday outdoor sessions on the IVC Sports Field
We have got an extra Thursday evening session arranged before Christmas on 17th December. See the Events list for full details.
The indoor flying session on Saturday 12th Dec will not be in the Gropius Hall. It will be as follows – 12.00 – 13.00 – Old Gym 13.00 – 15.00 – main Sports Hall

Indoor flying starts again in the Old Gym (not the Gropius!!) on Thursday 3rd December and the same rules apply as before the recent lockdown. Whilst we haven’t specifically asked Girton Parish Council, the rules from Wednesday allow up to 6 people to fly at Girton. Whilst we don’t have full confirmation from the Sports Centre yet, we think that indoor flying will resume next Thursday 3rd December in the Sports Hall. Full details will be circulated to all members and posted on the website ASAP

Due to the Covid restrictions there was no AGM in 2020, but the new club constitution was approved in an e-mail vote by 46 votes for and none against. The new constitution is now in effect and can be viewed on the Club Documents page or here
The BMFA have published the following advice on 9th November – Model Flying in the club environment The Government has ordered that certain venues must close, including indoor and outdoor leisure and sporting facilities.
