Haddenham Fun Fly Weekend (12th. & 13th. September 2020).
Club member Richard Holland has kindly issued an invitation to a weekend aeromodelling bonanza on the above dates.
As always, this is weather and Covid-19 permitting.
This event is open to all IVC club members (and other invited clubs), but is restricted to Radio Control (see 11) and Control Line models (see 9) only .
Please read terms and conditions:-
1) Field is 11 acres and surrounded by trees on 3 sides. Parking is available unless field is boggy.
2) All power types are allowed, but IC above 3.2cc (0.19cu.in.) must have an adequate muffler fitted.
3) Arrival, any time after 17.00 hours on Friday evening. Departure by 18.00 hours on Sunday.
4) Limited (and basic) camping is available upon written request (including caravans) richardholland147@msn.com. Note: No public toilet facilities on site.
5) No mains power available (small generators are allowed).
6) Barbeque equipment will be provided, but bring your own food (and drink).
7) Definition of RC model is – any powered fixed wing, any helicopter and /or quadcopter. Pilots need to be of A certificate standard (you don’t have to have passed the A cert) to fly
unsupervised. Less experienced pilots are welcome, but must be supervised by on site senior pilots (B standard).
8) FPV is allowed but must have a spotter in charge of flight. No overflying of houses or businesses.
9) Definition of Control Line is – from 0.5cc up to 15cc. Line pull test’s required. ROG models are subject to state of ground and grass length (to be advised).
10) RC & CL flights to be arranged in 1.5 hour slots over the 2 days.
11) Apologies but, after some consideration, pure Free Flight cannot be accomodated (but radio assist is OK).
12) All Government, CAA and BMFA rules to be observed at all times, including any coronavirus/lockdown rules in force at the time. Local rules may be applied.

Towards Haddenham on A1123
Approaching the first tight turn to the right before the water tower bear left on the bend into Wilburton road, leaving the water tower on your right.
Follow the road over speed ramps till passing the Cherry Tree pub on the left .
Follow the road around the left hand bend and then straight on after you take a left turn into Froize End
Follow the road down the hill as it goes into single track.
After passing Youngs Coaches on the right at the next right hand bend in the road, then turn into the field which is on the right on the corner.
