This is our special all day annual fly in to celebrate the clubs 80th birthday and founding in 1946 and is free to members. It is part of the celebration of the clubs 80th anniversary having been founded by Ray Malmstrom in 1946. Flyers from from East Anglia area clubs are invited to take part and fly CL and FF models and also to fly RC if taking part in one or more of the record attempts.
We have booked the field from 10am to 5pm. You can drive your car onto the field (sharp right after the houses but please don’t drive on any marked pitches). The gate should be open. Fixed wing RC flying will be from the sandpit area at the far side of the field to keep the sun behind us.
Further details will be published here nearer the time, but there will be some Malmstrom themed competitions and general flying plus fun fly type RC events.
The event if open to Radio, Control Line, Free flight and Drone flyers. Essentially this is like a Friday evening meeting, but all day!
