The final tally was 3,109 models in the air at noon, of which we contributed 34. 263 clubs participated. Thanks to Chris Constant for the videos.
The BMFA are having an “invitation only” centenary garden party and exhibition day with free buffet lunch and Warbirds flying demos at Buckminster on Sat 16th and Sunday 17th July. There will be a centenary display of modelling stuff over the last 100 years.
We have been asked to nominate up to 2 members to attend, so if anyone fancies going to this event, please let me know. The actual exhibition is on for 6 weeks after this weekend, but this weekend should be rather special.
Please only ask if you can definitely go on one of those days!! If more than 2 apply, we will draw straws.
