We have had requests from some FF modellers to allow limited small RC models to fly during the FF Saturday sessions as used to be the case pre Covid. This is because some FF modellers also build and fly small RC models but don’t want to risk them at the rather more “free for all” Saturday RC sessions. The rules for Saturday FF sessions have been amended as shown below from Saturday 13th Novembers FF session, but RC modellers please note that this is for those FF modellers who want to bring an RC model as well, not an open invitation for RC only flyers!!
New guidance for FF Saturday sessions
Members who are mainly flying FF models on Saturdays may also briefly fly small Vapor or home built slow flying RC models at one end of the hall during quieter periods. These should be models that fly in a similar way to FF models. Members who only fly RC should come to the main RC Saturday sessions.
