Dear members
Now that Friday evening flying has started, all we need is good weather!! Some info.
- All the info on access routes, flying areas etc is on each calendar entry on the website
- The gate to the car park should be open
- The green gate to enter the field (turn right after the houses on Park Drive) mainly used by CL and drone flyers may be locked. The code is 6769 and this is on each calendar entry. A video showing the lock and how to open it is here
- A childrens football club has the field booked from 5pm to 6pm. We have it booked from 6pm. They are very helpful and have agreed to vacate promptly by 6pm. If they don’t leave, please ask a committee member to speak to them.
If anyone wants some RC fixed wing buddy box training on Easystar or Aeroscout, please see John Clarke or Alan Paul. This is really only suitable for light winds!!
