The field at Girton is an excellent flying site, but we have noticed an increase in activity from dog walkers, picnickers and recently some evening organised sports training.
There will also be organised sports during the day at weekends starting in the autumn.
In general, the best times to visit Girton are weekdays before 5pm or weekends after 5pm (during the football season), however this can’t be guaranteed. It is possible to fly outside these times, but be prepared to wait if it’s busy.
