Although not a member of IVCMAC, the recent death of renowned free flight modeller Peter Williams in Cambridge has left a large amount of carefully collected free flight materials which his daughter Helen wishes to dispose of to like minded modellers with a charity donation where appropriate. Amongst other items there is a large amount of top quality balsa, covering materials, CO2 engines, tools, some diesel and glo engines, plans and years of modelling magazines and books. The magazines are free to a good home. There was a lot of top quality rubber in the fridge that I missed when doing the video!!
To give you an idea of what there is, a video of the items is here Peter Williams modelling items
Helen will be having an open house on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th July between 11am and 2pm on both days at 24c Carlyle Rd, Cambridge, CB4 3DN. For parking, the best bet is to turn off Carlyle road into Grasmere Gardens where you can park for a while.
If you can, please let Helen know by text on 07925 654719 if you are coming, but feel free to turn up anyway as she will be there on those 2 days.
