Saturday 6th July RTP – Our Round the Pole friends have booked the sports hall from 1pm to 5pm. All members are welcome to go along and view their new scale creations.
Friday 12th July Spot Landing comp – We will be having a light hearted RC spot landing competition from 7pm. This is an informal competition open to all types of model. The basic task is to fly overhead, cut the throttle, do a complete 360 degree turn and try to land as near to the spot as possible. The measurement is from where the model comes to a complete stop – not where it first impales itself!! You can have as many goes as you want.
Saturday 13th July Girton fete – We will be displaying RC and CL from 12 noon. Members are welcome to come along and support the event with static display models and to talk to the public. If anyone not already press ganged wants to fly at the event please contact me.
